Attention Drivers in Lincoln County and the surrounding areas!!

There's a few new drivers on the road that you should be prepared for.......

If you are required to be driving in the vicinity and happen to see either of these gals behind the wheel of a vehicle, simply and calmly remove your vehicle from the road and quietly and patiently wait for them to pass.  They are to be considered armed (with large purses) and dangerous (because they don't know any better!)

There is no need to alert the authorities, just go on about your day and be glad they didn't ram into you with thier Mother's mini-vans.

Wordless Wednesdays.....No You're Not!!!!

Epcot!

We loved Epcot, there were so many amazing places to go and see and smell and hear.  It was like visiting countries all around the world in just one day!

We really enjoyed the live shows, and this was one of the few that I had my camera out for.  This little girl was very talented....How do you learn that you have the talent of spinning tables and pottery on your feet?  Not quite sure, but this was absolutely AMAZING!

Eating our way through Disney!!!

We had an absolute blast this Labor Day weekend.  There are so many things to see and do in Orlando, it did not take us long to plan our entire weekend, which may or may not have centered on food!

Like the good eaters that we are, we started our mornings with breakfast, Shoneys and IHOP were on the menus......oh how we <3 IHOP!!!!

The first day we went to Epcot, what a cool place.  There are tons of places to eat in each little country that you visit.  We were tempted by the African buffet, but didn't feel that hungry.  Eat with the Disney princesses in Norway?  I didn't want to have to punch a five year old girl to get a photo with Cinderella.... So we started reading a little more of the map and plotting our adventure.  Enter: Morroco and the Tangierine CafĂ©!  Oh hummus how I love thee!!!  This was the slider platter, it had a pita filled with falafel, one with chicken, and one with lamb.  Also included were some lentils, hummus and sweet refreshing cous-cous salad.  This might have been one of my favorite things that I ate.

One night we had dinner at a place called Chevy's Fresh Mex, pretty good, although I almost had to get up and get my own water because our server took forever and the salsa was more spicy than I had expected. I had the farmers's market veggie quesadilla, which I couldn't finish and Tony had the Salmon Bowl, which looked delicious, but he was so hungry I didn't get a bite of it, let alone a photo of it!

The big dinner/date night :-)

See that happy man up there?? That because we went to Landry's and we had Mango Mojito's and delicious crab and spinach dip, not to mention the amazing salad (sorry no photo) and then we both had pasta and shrimp.  It was so good!  Landry's never disappoints!

Please do not be alarmed, this is not all we ate over the course of FOUR days, just the great things that I will always remember about this trip..... And finally something I wish I had a whole box of in my freezer right now.......Yes a chocolate dipped banana rolled in crushed nuts, I believe I had two if not three of these!  It was so hot and humid in Florida and these hit the spot.  YUM-O

off to the happiest place on earth....

AGAIN!!!! I'm so excited, I just don't even know where to begin. Anthony and I are preparing to go back to Disney World later this afternoon, and I can't wait.

I've been feeling a little under the weather the past few days, but here's to the Happiest Place on Earth. Pictures to follow.......

Welcome Welcome, one and all

I figured with the upcoming deployment that I should take to blogging again, so I could keep our friends and family in the loop (as much as possible)

So what is there to say that hasn't already been said?

Hi! This is going to be awesome, I can't wait. I will try to make this blog funny and informative, heck I might even throw some cupcake recipes around for you all's viewing pleasure (if everyone can promise not to lick their screens :-p )

Well that's about it, we are a cute little military family......hubby has been in for over five years, and is preparing for his third deployment.......wifey is a working lady, who is going to try to keep busy while her husband is away. And I will hopefully chronicale all our adventures here.....until then
